The last few years, my use of industrially produced sports drinks and energy bars has gradually gone down. Now, when it comes to sports ergogenics and pre/post meals, I try and keep everything as natural and simple as possible.

TRAINING TIPS & TRICKS

Training for an endurance event is no more than an ongoing process of choosing when to give which training stimulus to our body (and brain). As years go by, trial and error starts to¬†turn into¬†experience. While this should be very individualized, I’m sure that what works for me can work for many others as well. I suppose this category could be a collection of my own trial-and-errors.

EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY

Regularly, I come across interesting scientific studies on exercise physiology. I think it’s useful to analyze such studies in depth and provide a certain context. The occasional scientific input is important to open our eyes and change the perspective of things. I’d like to share my interpretation every once in a while.
